The healing power of Mānuka was first encountered by Co-founder Anastasiya, when she saw her mother using Mānuka honey to treat her grandfather's diabetic wounds and abrasions. This sparked her curiosity about the Mānuka tree and other benefits it could offer, leading to the discovery of Mānuka Oil. Inspired by its remarkable healing and wellness properties, she embarked on a journey to create a brand dedicated to harnessing these benefits. With the expertise of her father, a seasoned beauty industry professional, and her brother (a natural brand expert), KATOA was born.
